Water Pump Type:: for v-ribbed belt use

Part can be used for BMW 1 Series F20/ F21, 2 Series F22/ F87/ F23, 3 Series F30/ F80/ F31 and 4 Series F32/ F82/ F36 with engine code B38 (1.5L Displacement).
Fit the new water pump with new gasket hand-tight. Ensure the pump is properly aligned and then tighten the fastening screws down to the specified torque.
No additional sealant should be applied during installation. Otherwise, it will forms a bead on the inner section of the casting, this is removed with coolant flow and becomes wrapped around the rotating pump shaft between the housing and the impeller. Eventually will causes the component failure.
